Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
We will be packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes in October and November. Please bring filled and labeled shoeboxes with $7.00 for shipping to the Sanctuary platform. We will dedicate our shoeboxes during the 11:00 am Worship Service on Sunday, November 13, 2016.
Puerto Rico Mission Partnership
A team of Derbyshire Youth and Young Adults partnered with Iglesia Bautista de Metrópolis in Carolina, Puerto Rico in July 2016 to "Be The Light" of Jesus together. We served alongside Pastor Jesus Garcia and the wonderful people of Metrópolis as we helped lead Vacation Bible School, visited and sang for a local nursing home, and cleaned and painted at a local school. We hope that this will continue to be a sustainable partnership and we are looking toward Summer 2018 for another trip to serve with our friends in Puerto Rico.
