With a passion for excellence, and yet a genuine heart and sensitivity for personal ministry, the DBC Music Ministry strives to meet the needs of our worshiping family while providing musical experiences and education for three year olds - senior adults.
The musical diversity and organizational size of the DBC Music Ministry - great choral classics to Southern gospel by a 90-voice Chancel Choir, favorite hymn arrangements and scripture settings by selected vocalists, innovative handbell works presented by five handbell choirs, commissioned literature for full 28-piece symphony orchestra complete with full strings and harp, and multiple instrumental soloists - all work together to augment and enhance weekly worship experiences and seasonal programming.
Numerous annual presentations of the DBC Music Ministry have established themselves in the greater Richmond community as traditions including, Christmas at Derbyshire and the Good Ol’ Fashioned Gospel Sing and Watermelon Cutting.
