What is "Kingdom Vision"...?
In short, following the example of Jesus Christ in all that we do. We are to serve the Kingdom of God here on earth. This is our heritage and our mission. This is what matters most in our life and work as a community of Christian faith.
How does it relate to the church body?
A study conducted by the Derbyshire 360 team in 2007 identified six core values that are integral to enabling a church body to live and grow according to a "Kingdom Vision." These values define the fellowship, spiritual experience, and service of the church in God's Kingdom. Derbyshire has taken these values and created teams to incorporate them into the overall church body. The idea is to provide a vision for the future of the church and establish an appropriate network of dedicated and Christ-centered volunteers to drive that vision.
