Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Business Merchandising and an Associates of Art degree in Retailing
from Virginia Intermont in Bristol,
Virginia.
Julie’s early background was in
business. She was a buyer for Belk and she even owned her own children’s
specialty store, The Sand Box, in Wilmington, NC
for five years.
When Julie moved to Richmond she decided to
work part-time and was offered a job as a church secretary. She has since made
it a full-time career. She has worked in several churches over the last ten
years before coming to Derbyshire three years ago to be the Office Manager.
Julie is a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church
and is the proud parent of Whitney and Hunter Hoffman. Her favorite leisure
activities include spending time with her family and friends, playing with her
puppy, shopping, flower gardening, watching Hunter’s basketball games, and
visiting her daughter in Raleigh.
