Mom's Free Morning is a non-profit, outreach ministry of Derbyshire Baptist Church. We provide an opportunity for children to grow socially, developmentally and spiritually through interaction with other children and adults.We know that children learn best through play, and this is the basis of our program. We provide developmentally appropriate experience and materials designed to enrich a child's growth. Most importantly, Mom's Free Morning provides a loving, warm and safe atmosphere for infants and children to play and  learn in small well-supervised groups.

Staff

Teachers and assistants are selected on the background in working with children, as well as their love for children, and their ability to work with children in small groups. All teachers are required to be certified and trained in First Aid and CPR for infants and children by the American Red Cross. Each teacher must submit an annual statement from a practicing physician stating that she is free from any disability that would hinder her work with children. Criminal record checks and searches of Central Registry are required for each employee.
